Vintage fashion is so much fun and can be more creative than buying from the high street – I want to encourage playful dressing up as seen at my recent dressing up parties that really helped the ladies to see what colours and styles really worked for them.
I noticed when talking with customers who are new to vintage buying, there is some betwixting of how to style pieces. Vintage clothing can be a riot of wonderful colours and cuts – that’s what makes them stand out as vintage, but to a new burgeoning group of gals who are looking for some individuality in their wardrobe, not wanting to wear the same old brands from high street it can sometimes be a tricky look to pull off.
With this in mind I have created a new department in the shop – Get the Look – where I have done the styling for you! You can buy the total look and this way actually saves you money too!
I love blending old with new to get a great personalised look, and encourage buying top end quality designers rather than supermarket brands, with my Guest Designers, Suzywan, Ollie&Agnes who hand make current accessories – they team with the clothing to finish off the look perfectly.
