Are you Jan or Jan?

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

You are Jan (as in E-anne ) or are you a Ju-Ju -Jupitar Jan?

I can’t really tell-

Your curly blonde bangs and pretty eyes with long lashes

You secret a catapult to shoot down your allies tucked in a pocket  ~just barely visable

I must know your mystery

You cute tomboy
You pretty man

Summer – I hear you!!

Things to make n do:
I found this gorgeous vintage vogue pattern and thought I’d try and make myself a swimsuit this year!

The little darling, Spring,

Has run away;

The sunshine grew too hot for her to stay.

She kissed her sister Summer,

And she said

“When I am gone, you must be queen instead.”

Now reigns the Lady Summer,

Round whose feet

A thousand faires flock with blossoms sweet.

You wear a pretty summer dress

Unfolding softly

Creaseless

Oh pretty rose, oh how pretty you are…

I was so happy to see you today, grow gracefully amongst the wisteria branches, how your perfumes will intertwine

In perfect harmony you both are

Nothing to worry, nothing to fear

Just being beautiful

Get Some Spine!

What do you buy the boy who wants nothing?  He certainly doesn’t have much and  certainly doesn’t want it either….Hmmm a conundrum.

I’ve recently bought my beloved G a suit for all his important meetings (he usually can be found wearing an old Guinness t-shirt or Def Leppard whilst servicing your computer under a dusty desk somewhere, so has very little need for any Sunday Best clothes…) But wait – what do we have here? Only some rather fetching ties by Toybreaker!

I love the back bone and tongue tied the best – I love to see beautiful designs with some spine!

Feast your eyes!

I love you Etsy!

I’ve been dreaming…

I need to upholster the Campervan ready for some summer festival festivities and it’s just too hard to choose….

I will be using a mix of my vintage stock  and some new fabrics – there are just so many great prints out there…

I’m loving the Designers Guild Fabric
